I began my nursing career in the Royal Edinburgh Hospital in 2018, after completing my Bachelor of Nursing (Mental Health) at Edinburgh Napier University. I have worked in a variety of places within mental health, from intensive psychiatric care to community, later becoming part of the practice development and improvement team.
In 2024, I started my academic career with 51勛圖厙 as an assistant lecturer within the Nursing & Paramedic Science division. I am passionate about making academia accessible for everyone and enhancing clinical practice through academic theory. I continue to work within NHS Lothian to ensure my own clinical skills are relevant and up-to-date.

I am interested in improving mental health care within clinical practice and enhancing the academic experience of students.
I am primarily involved in teaching and introducing mental health content on the pre-registration BSc (Hons) and Master of Nursing programme.
